Job Description


/ Roles and Responsibilities for Job Title: 1) Ensure continued efficient productivity of users through the ability to provide accurate and timely solutions to user problems 2) Provide Level 1 Support to End-users across all departments escalating calls when necessary 3) Analyzes and interprets inquiries: provides information, advice or instructions and assists in problem resolution 4) Installs user software, new workstations, system upgrades and resolve software related problems 5) Troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to end-user applications 6) Keep user/time/date log of troubleshooting, support, and installations 7) Interfaces with internal departments and outside vendors and acts as liaison during problem resolution 8) Maintain current technical knowledge of computer systems, software applications, company operating procedures, policies and regulatory requirements as they relate to operations within the pharmaceutical industry 9) Perform all work in compliance with GXP, company SOPs and regulatory and safety standards 10) Participate in training sessions 11) Execute other duties as may be required by the Management team as training and experience allow Any Additional responsibility given by Head of the Department / Management Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 2 - 3 year College Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent \xc2\xb7 1 - 2 years hands-on experience with PC hardware and software, Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Productivity Software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of LAN and WAN environments as well as TCP/IP protocol \xc2\xb7 Superior problem solving skills in a technical environment \xc2\xb7 Proven project management skills \xc2\xb7 Very organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task \xc2\xb7 Strong organizing and planning skills to work independently with efficiency and accuracy \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills \xc2\xb7 A proven track record of customer service success \xc2\xb7 Requires tact and discretion in dealing with and handling confidential information \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem solving skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, efficient and able to multi-task and prioritize effectively \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills Notes:

  • Internship Length: 3-4 Months
  • Currently must be enrolled in academic program under bachelors or diploma program at any university, or college
Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-op Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Mississauga, ON L4W 1A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
