Job Description
Under the direction and guidance of the Senior Manager and mentored by IPSES Program Coordinator of Education and Training, the ISET Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with client management and data collection on training and employment initiatives on a day to day basis. The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education, experience, and knowledge:
- Post-secondary education preferably in related field (human resources management, training and development, or career development)
- Two years of related work experience preferably including career counselling and/or client management;
- Experience is a necessity in Microsoft Office Program especially Excel;
- Assists clients to establish career goals and to develop education/training plans
- Training and mentoring will be provided as required
- Experience working with database programs considered an asset;
- Assist in the coordination of the funding application process
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of career development practices;
- Enters all ISET related data into the database
- Client-service orientation;
- Ability to communicate to a diverse client base;
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Travel may be required to communities within the ISR.
