This position will play a key role in our Foundations in Hospitality program for Indigenous Youth, an occupational skills training program with a focus in the ever-growing Hospitality industry. The objective of the program is to foster, mentor and train Indigenous Youth who face barriers to employment but have a desire to gain and maintain meaningful employment in the Hospitality sector.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Grande Prairie Program Advisor, the PROGRAM COORDINATOR / FACILITATOR will play an active key role within the Foundations of Hospitality Training Program. Our innovative online training program: Foundations in Hospitality directly responds to hospitality industry needs while focusing on preparing participants for meaningful employment in the rapidly changing hospitality sector.
As the central resource for Grande Prairie Hospitality program, the PROGRAM COORDINATOR / FACILITATOR will utilize excellent judgment to develop credible and meaningful relationships with program participants and other stakeholders, ensuring strictest confidentiality. This individual will work with the program advisor, the administrator, and the program participants to identify opportunities and to resolve concerns.
