The Position

Information Solutions, Applications Specialist

NOTE: Position must be based in Toronto. Relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.

As the Information Solutions, Applications Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) on Roche software applications directly supporting our customers and ensuring their needs are met. You are passionate about the healthcare environment and understand the importance of our IS solutions on the customer experience and patient care. With this you will strive to deliver timely, accurate, installation and configuration of software to meet customer needs. The optimization and sophistication of our diagnostic testing platforms relies heavily on our software applications today and will continue to increase into the future. You will get the chance to be a part of bringing these innovations to laboratories, clinicians and patients across Canada.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

• Collaborate with the regional squad(s) to deliver on business priorities and key customer goals (retention, acquisitions, growth and experience)
• Support the regional squad in key customer interactions (pre-sales presentations, co-creation initiatives, RFI/RFP presentations, etc).
• Collaborate with the Consulting & Transformation team on the installation of new instruments and the training of customers.
• Build relationships with our customers and seek to understand their objectives and challenges to deliver a positive experience throughout the customer journey
• Communicate with the Customer Support Lead regularly to ensure that the IS infrastructure is in good working order and to assess greater opportunities for optimization or efficiency with our Roche software applications.
• Collaborate with the Customer Support team to resolve systems issues

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be successful

• Diploma of collegial studies in lab technology (3 years program) or relevant experience in customer-facing IT role
• 5 - 7 years of experience in hospital and/or laboratory setting is considered an asset
• Ability to travel frequently 20% - 30%
• Excellent collaborator and systems thinker with a keen sense of problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Bilingualism required for roles support Quebec or New Brunswick

L\'optimisation et la sophistication de nos plates-formes de tests diagnostiques reposent fortement sur nos applications logicielles d\'aujourd\'hui et continueront d\'augmenter \xc3\xa0 l\'avenir. Vous aurez la chance de participer \xc3\xa0 la diffusion de ces innovations aupr\xc3\xa8s des laboratoires, des cliniciens et des patients partout au Canada.

Ce que vous ferez

• Collaborer avec les brigades r\xc3\xa9gionales pour r\xc3\xa9pondre aux priorit\xc3\xa9s commerciales et aux objectifs cl\xc3\xa9s des clients (r\xc3\xa9tention, acquisitions, croissance et exp\xc3\xa9rience)
• Soutenir la brigade r\xc3\xa9gionale dans les interactions cl\xc3\xa9s avec les clients (pr\xc3\xa9sentations avant-vente, initiatives de co-cr\xc3\xa9ation, pr\xc3\xa9sentations RFI / RFP, etc.).
• Collaborer avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de Services conseils et transformation sur l\'installation de nouveaux instruments et la formation des clients.
• Construire des relations avec nos clients et chercher \xc3\xa0 comprendre leurs objectifs et leurs d\xc3\xa9fis pour offrir une exp\xc3\xa9rience positive tout au long du parcours client
• Communiquer r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8rement avec le Responsable, assistance client pour vous assurer que l\'infrastructure SI est en bon \xc3\xa9tat de fonctionnement et pour \xc3\xa9valuer de plus grandes opportunit\xc3\xa9s d\'optimisation ou d\'efficacit\xc3\xa9 avec nos applications logicielles Roche.
• Collaborer avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe d\xe2\x80\x99assistance client pour r\xc3\xa9soudre les probl\xc3\xa8mes de syst\xc3\xa8me

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour r\xc3\xa9ussir

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes coll\xc3\xa9giales en technologie de laboratoire (programme de 3 ans) ou exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente dans un r\xc3\xb4le informatique orient\xc3\xa9 client
• De 5 \xc3\xa0 7 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en milieu hospitalier et / ou en laboratoire sont consid\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9s comme un atout
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 voyager fr\xc3\xa9quemment 20% - 30%
• Excellent collaborateur et penseur de syst\xc3\xa8mes avec un sens aigu de la r\xc3\xa9solution de probl\xc3\xa8mes
• Solides comp\xc3\xa9tences interpersonnelles et de cr\xc3\xa9ation de relations
• Bilinguisme requis pour les r\xc3\xb4les de soutien au Qu\xc3\xa9bec ou au Nouveau-Brunswick
