About the Role:



As an IoT Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to demonstrate to customers the value of our products and solutions, driving growth and enhancing productivity of our North American sales team.

We are looking for engineers with strong interpersonal communication skills, technical understanding, IoT industry knowledge, and a keen ability to learn. Your role will involve recommending to customers the right products and solutions to achieve their digital goals through advanced IoT technologies. Location: Toronto, with travel to customer sites (approximately 20% of the role involves travel).

This posting includes all IoT Solutions Engineer positions at InHand Networks in North America.

What You'll Do:



Work with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support, understand customer needs, address inquiries, explain product features, and recommend technical solutions that meet customer requirements. Conduct technical writing of industry solutions, including solution proposals, technical articles, and training materials. Assist the R&D team with on-site testing. Work with R&D, product, and sales teams to provide technical support for custom development needs, including consulting, training, on-site guidance, and troubleshooting. Communicate customer feedback to the product and R&D teams, participate in technical training and workshops. Stay informed about existing products and the product roadmap. Understand key competitor products.

What We're Looking For:



Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Familiarity with computer networks and communication protocols; CCNA or higher certification preferred.

Knowledge of network architecture, topology, and hardware (primarily Ethernet switches and routers).

Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric attitude.

Proactive, diligent, team-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.

Recent graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.

Canadian or U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with work authorization in the U.S. or Canada.

Experience in industrial automation is a plus.
