We’re looking for a IoT Pricing Manager to oversee all aspects of our R4B IoT Rate Cards to drive long-term margin for the company. The IoT Pricing Manager is responsible for the mid-to-long term strategy, pricing, execution excellence, and overall P&L financial performance of the portfolio for Rogers for Business.
As the IoT Pricing Manager, you will lead cross-functional members to execute pricing initiatives with overall accountability for all aspects of your IoT portfolio, requiring you to have excellent communication and collaboration skills across every part of the Rogers business and team leadership skills.
You will bring strong leadership, analytical and presentation skills to lead, ask the right questions, and build support for your ideas. Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a strong bias for data analysis are what fuel you to come to work everyday.
What you will do:

  • Propose Standard rate plan pricing and retention pricing that optimize profitability and revenue growth with a particular emphasis on annual targets.
  • Propose pricing constructs that improve the customer experience.
  • Identify new pricing initiatives by surfacing insights and telling a story built around the customer.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to build support for proposals
  • Support all medium-term pricing strategies with robust “game theory” analysis
  • Be the end-to-end program owner for wireless – articulate offer design, financial impacts/business case, secure approval, and collaborate with execution partners for system deployment.
  • Proactively review results of key pricing initiatives and provide recommendations to improve future revenue / market share performance

What you will bring:
  • Ability to communicate complex information to decision makers and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team player, persuasive with the ability to collaborate and build strong cross functional relationships
  • 3-4+ years of experience in telecom, consulting, financial services, marketing and/or product/pricing management
  • Experience with data-driven analysis and synthesizing insights and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to defend a recommendation, negotiate trade-offs, build alignment, and take feedback
  • Desire to challenge the status quo, ask questions, and develop solutions to problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint)
  • Undergraduate degree. MBA or Graduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of Telco industry and IoT is an asset
