Job Description

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Pricing Director, the Pricing Manager must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. The selected candidate should be experienced in accounting and systems concepts, be an analytical thinker, highly motivated, and process excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Post-Secondary Education in Finance or Accounting
• Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years
• Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience
• Knowledge of computer systems; JD Edwards and/or Basware would be considered an asset.
• Self-starter with multi-tasking abilities
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated systems aptitude
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Project lead and team member for various projects within pricing department to improve processes.
• Evaluate new and current opportunities in coordination with sales, supply chain, & operations to support strong and profitable volume growth.
• Develop/implement and utilize various pricing tools to help support pricing strategies required to grow margin.
• Aid in completion of annual budget creation.
• Regularly review exceptions reports to ensure accuracy of actual price & margin vs Budget.
• Make recommendations to Director of Pricing on changes that should be made to budgeted & forecasted Net Sales and Margins due to price/program changes.
