POSITION: PARTS COORDINATOR ABOUT BRIKERS We\xe2\x80\x99re fixers - we\xe2\x80\x99ve been rebuilding heavy equipment components for over 20 years. We dismantle whole equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders and rock trucks on site, rebuild the components to their original specifications, and test them on our in-house test bench. POSITION SUMMARY This position\'s primary responsibility is to ensure that all necessary parts are stocked, ordered, and delivered to rebuild technicians. Other responsibilities would include ordering new parts from catalog, determining replacement parts required, and general organization and documentation of parts. The Parts Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the Inventory department with other duties as needed. This position is full-time. Work hours are between Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30 pm. RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Creating work orders \xc2\xb7 Looking up parts \xc2\xb7 Creating, managing, and following up on requests for quotes \xc2\xb7 Placing and maintaining purchase orders \xc2\xb7 Providing work orders and purchase order updates \xc2\xb7 Receiving, processing, and storing parts orders \xc2\xb7 Record keeping \xc2\xb7 General support QUALIFICATIONS: \xc2\xb7 Several years of shop experience ordering parts from vendors and keeping inventory \xc2\xb7 Familiar with automotive or machine parts \xc2\xb7 Technologically literate \xc2\xb7 Stand up forklift certification is an asset \xc2\xb7 Comfortable in a shop production/manufacturing environment \xc2\xb7 Receiving experience \xc2\xb7 Experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a team \xc2\xb7 Organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Experience with ERP implementation is an asset but not mandatory PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to moderate to loud noise environments and will be required to operate various heavy equipment, such as forklifts.
