ContainerWorld located in Richmond, British Columbia is a premier logistics provider for the beverage industry; privately owned company with approximately 550 employees throughout its ten BC facilities. ContainerWorld also operates in Ontario. We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company. We have a Warehouse Management System to include voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning. Our automation also includes an ERP, CRM, Truckmate, Sage, Kronos and other applications to prime us for present and future expansions. ContainerWorld actively supports Lean Six Sigma concepts. We are presently recruiting for a full-time Inventory Planning role available in our Toronto facility. Position Type: Permanent Full-Time Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM \xe2\x80\x93 4:30 PM Location: Cross roads of Peter Street & Adelaide in downtown Toronto, ON with a hybrid Working from Home Position Overview: This position manages inventory for key account customers, as per customer\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines, taking into consideration any possible out-of-stock risks to their portfolio. Main Responsibilities:

  • Forecast product demand for assigned accounts
  • Loads forecast into our in-house planning system
  • Using our forecasting model calculates future product demand
  • Compare and validate customer supplied forecasts
  • Maintain pricing for assigned accounts
  • Provide reporting to assigned accounts
  • Provide back up and support to other team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Post Secondary Education Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Prior knowledge of inventory planning forecasting policies, processes, and procedures
  • Preference will be provided to candidates with PMAC or APICS.
Required Competencies:
  • Advance computer skills, such as MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to create and manipulate Microsoft Excel reports is a must for this role.
  • Attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Independently identifies and analyses readily available facts
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Some creative problem solving is required to execute assigned work
  • Provides input on priorities and policies directly affecting their role
