Here\'s the impact you\'ll make and what we\'ll accomplish together

We are looking for a dynamic shipping, receiving, warehousing coordinating person (also known as Inventory Coordinator or Procurement Agent) to monitor and report on the company\'s inventory. You will coordinate the efficient handling of our products and supplies; a critical function in helping attain our business goals. You will maintain accurate records, leveraging your great attention to detail and business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives. You will also be responsible for the configuration of devices in the Focus web portal and operations support for sending commands via SMS or Focus platform. Furthermore, you will be managing SIMs, registering devices in the Focus web portal and preparing the equipment required for each of the contracts.

Here\'s how

A day in the life will include many of these critical actions:

  • Supporting our customers in both French & English
  • Refurbishment of rental equipment
  • Maintenance and updating of tablets and GPS equipment
  • Managing merchandise returns and updating the various management files
  • Optimizing inventory control procedures
  • Dismantling of panels and recovery of parts
  • Inspecting the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages
  • Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Recording daily delivery and shipments in the inventory management system to reconcile inventory
  • Collaboration with Project Managers and Account Managers to configure orders as part of the new client onboarding process
  • Purchasing materials and goods from suppliers
  • Performing general physical activities in the warehouse; loading, unloading product and materials manually and using material handling equipment
  • Completing work orders, picking and assembling orders in shipping containers
  • Arranging transportation including all shipping documents, bills of lading and customs documentation
  • Receiving new products and re-stocking shelves
Qualifications

You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle

You are likely in a similar inventory or warehouse role today, with many of the experienced points and abilities below:
  • Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Experience using inventory management software and tools
  • You\'re known for accurately tracking inventory and creating impactful reports
  • You have a knack for planning, organizing, analytics and math/finance
  • You are a frequent and competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • You are able to lift or move items weighing up to 30 lbs, when required
Great-to-haves

We are especially excited to connect with people who have experience with any of the following:
  • Experience with LEAN methodologies and/or Kanban inventory control systems
  • Familiarity with service desk/trouble ticket management software
  • Relevant study or certification, such as CPIM
  • BSc/BA in business administration, logistics or a related field
