Job Description

Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik's Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

We are currently seeking an Inventory Controller. The ideal candidate will be familiar with inventory management systems and will ensure that the products and materials required for daily operations are sufficient. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to join a dynamic team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Maintains an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Accurately manages inventory levels by performing regular data entry, stock checks, and reporting. Receives, stores, and dispatches goods, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment. Accurately input inventory movements and receipts into the system to ensure up-to-date stock records for fresh flowers, supplies, and packaging. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move flower buckets, boxes, and hard goods as needed. Conducts quality checks on incoming and stored materials in line with company standards. Follows all workplace safety procedures and inventory control protocols. Provide reliable, hands-on support throughout the shift to keep order packing, inventory restocking, and dispatch running smoothly. Enter data into warehouse and inventory systems and generate basic inventory and fulfillment reports for supervisor review. Monitor stock levels of floral supplies, packaging, and hard goods, and alert management when replenishment is required. Performs additional duties as required to support team and business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Strong time management and prioritization abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, especially during peak seasons. Ability to coordinate with production, sales, and shipping departments to maintain optimal inventory levels. Maintain records of all inventory transactions and examine the quality of inventory items. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required. Ability to track stock movement accurately, manage counts, and reconcile discrepancies. Proficiency in inventory management software and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Education:

High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience:



1-3 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a perishable goods environment (e.g., floral, produce, food, etc.). Familiarity with warehouse operations and stock rotation practices for inventory.

Language:

Must be fluent in English.

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
