The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for organizing day to day inventory management, continually improving the core processes and engaging the Inventory Control Lead and the Operational team. Managing all functions related to inventory within the Retail Support Centre (RSC), as well as the operational integrity of the EXE WMS, and being able to interpret data.



Here's where you'll have an impact:



Manage HEAT system for store returns and claims Provide analysis and action plans to reduce inventory loss Run and review the EXE RSC adjustment listing daily Comply with all RSC audit expectations/ all programs and standards Pre-plan and identify future space requirements Act as liaison with the Procurement Department Investigate and address product issues Reconcile inventory BOH discrepancies between the host and warehouse systems Ensure warehouse financial reporting, relating to inventory shrink, is maintained accurately with/ through the Regional Finance Department. Manage the inventory cycle count and process Participate in ongoing training Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment. Creating and maintaining site KPI reporting Co-ordinate with IC Team Lead, when required, daily activities of inventory control staff Comply, manage, and execute random standard audit process Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company Undertake ad-hoc statistical analysis and help interpret data Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:



A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or combination of education and related experience Minimum seven (7) years in senior warehousing, transportation or logistics inventory management position. Experience working in a Third Party (3PL) or Retail logistics environment. Demonstrated successful experience, working with big data in complex logistics environment.

Technical Skills:



A minimum of three years' experience in inventory control management Previous three years supervisory experience Working knowledge of EXE ,SAP, BW, C3, and TMS Strong analytical skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Results orientated leader with solid judgement and data driven decision making skills Excellent judgement and decision-making skills Demonstrated successful planning and analysis skills Demonstrated successful ability working with cross-functional teams Exceptional hands-on Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge Ability to provoke new thinking through tangible report creation
