Job Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Concord, Ontario, Canada. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory records, processing purchase orders, and maintaining data accuracy.Responsibilities

• Handle the organization and documentation of physical inventory.
• Manage the entry and maintenance of inventory data in Excel spreadsheets.
• Process purchase orders and ensure the accuracy of entered data.
• Utilize strong Excel skills to perform a variety of data-related tasks.
• Guarantee high data entry accuracy and speed to maximize operational efficiency.
• Use strong attention to detail to avoid errors and maintain high-quality data.
• Address customer inquiries related to inventory and order status.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Ensure all customer records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with other data entry tasks as needed.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proficient in Data Entry and Typing Data Entry
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with inventory software or databases is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
