Primary Responsibilities

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Identify inventory avoidance/reduction opportunities

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Work with all departments to drive inventory reduction opportunities

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Stratify inventory to assist in inventory metric reporting, management and control

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Develop key metrics for tracking inventory values and trends

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Measure specific categories of inventory against key metrics

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Estimate ideal inventory levels by family based on production plan

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Report on work order cycle times and implement improvements

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Hands on management of obsolete inventory via sales, rework, or scrap

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Assist in forecasting appropriate levels of stock

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Manage/reduce excess to MRP inventory

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Provide action message metrics and meet with buyers to review MRP action messages

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Measure future inventory purchase against MRP action messages and work with the buyers to correct variances

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Assist on a daily basis in evaluating changes in demand and configurations as they relate to overall inventory levels, safety stock, and stranded inventory
