POSITION SUMMARY
As the Supply Chain Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, facilitating and ensuring the effective rollout of various supply chain projects. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is looking to be a key player in a new department within a fast-paced fashion retailer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AUDITING (20%)

  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
  • Assist with the development of inventory analysis reports
  • Complete 3-way inventory matching for import/inventory systems
  • Conduct daily analysis to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems
  • Assist with Distribution Centre duties as required
DISCREPANCY ADJUSTMENTS (25%)
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Generate monthly Vendor Discrepancy report
FINANCIAL REPORTING (20%)
  • Generate, maintain and organize monthly and annual inventory reports
  • Assist with the reconciliation of inventory
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators for cost & service
  • Assist with internal accounting duties, such as creating invoices for internal company transfers, reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger
DATA ENTRY (25%)
  • Upload inventory on incoming shipments and outgoing transfers in ERP
COMMUNICATION (10%)
  • Communicate with Retail Operations & Loss Manager on daily, weekly and quarterly inventory count and transactions
  • Create and maintain SOP\xe2\x80\x99s of existing Supply Chain processes and recommend improvements
REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, logistics or related field; retail or apparel industry an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems; Netsuite an asset
  • Ability to thrive in a computerized and fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and with strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with different levels of the business
  • Data-driven
  • Flexibility to be based both at our Distribution Centre in Coquitlam and Head Office in Vancouver
