About the Company:
We are a globally recognized Chinese manufacturing company specializing in high-quality
goods for export markets. Due to recent trade policy changes and increasing import tariffs, we
are strategically expanding our presence in Canada to optimize our supply chain and customer
service operations.
To support this expansion, we are looking to hire a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to
serve as our International Manager/Coordinator based in Canada. The successful candidate
will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, contractor management, and
business development efforts in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Oversight & Collections

Manage and oversee the collection of outstanding payments from Canadian clients and
partners.

Liaise directly with customers to resolve payment issues professionally and efficiently. Reconcile financial records and report back to the China-based head office. Allocate collected funds towards local operational expenses, including infrastructure
development and staffing.
2. Strategic Expansion & Project Coordination

Assist in setting up and managing local facilities (e.g., warehouses, light manufacturing
or assembly plants) to reduce dependency on imports and avoid tariffs.

Coordinate with local consultants, legal teams, and contractors to ensure compliance
with Canadian regulations.

Monitor and report progress on factory construction and equipment procurement.
3. Subcontractor Oversight

Identify, vet, and manage third-party vendors and subcontractors across Canada. Ensure deliverables meet company standards, timelines, and budgets. Establish service-level agreements and manage ongoing relationships with vendors.
4. Payment Processing & Financial Coordination

Receive and make business-related payments on behalf of the company within
Canada.

Work with banks and financial institutions to ensure proper compliance and transaction
flow.

Maintain proper documentation and reporting for all financial activities.

5. Communication & Reporting

Serve as the main point of contact between Canadian operations and the China head
office.

Provide regular updates on project status, client communications, financial
performance, and risk areas.

Translate cultural and business nuances to help streamline international operations.
6. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all business activities comply with Canadian and international trade laws. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Work with legal teams when necessary to ensure ethical and legal business conduct.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (required for regulatory and
operational reasons).

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Finance,
Project Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in international business coordination, supply chain
management, or financial oversight.

Proven track record of managing client relationships and collecting payments
professionally.

Experience working with subcontractors and overseeing construction or setup projects
is a strong asset.

Familiarity with Canadian trade laws, financial regulations, and import/export policies. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English. Mandarin proficiency is an
asset but not required.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and make strategic decisions. Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada.
Compensation & Benefits:
