International School Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

CA$39,000 - CA$42,000 per year + Annual Bonus

About the Role



We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented

School Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

to be the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. This position is central to ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting the school community. The right candidate will also have opportunities to

grow into a supervisory or managerial role

, supporting broader school operations or student services as they gain experience and demonstrate leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities



Front Desk & Communication



Answer and manage calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism. Welcome and direct visitors, parents, and students to appropriate contacts.

Administrative Support



Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and correspondence in compliance with Ministry guidelines. Assist with admissions processes, data entry, and database management. Prepare reports, invoices, letters, and official documents.

Office Operations



Schedule appointments, organize meetings, and support staff with clerical tasks (filing, copying, scanning, etc.). Manage office supplies and coordinate orders to maintain stock levels.

Community Liaison



Communicate with parents, guardians, and agents regarding attendance, school updates, and general inquiries. Relay information between teachers, parents, and students.

Other Duties



Provide additional administrative support as assigned to ensure efficient school operations.

Qualifications



Minimum

1-2 years of administrative/receptionist experience

(school or education setting preferred). Strong proficiency in

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

and Google Workspace. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and welcoming presence.

Preferred Assets:



Experience in education administration and supporting international students. Knowledge of additional languages (Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc). Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration or related field.

Work Conditions



Fast-paced office environment. Requires attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines. In-person role at our Toronto campus.
