our area of focus.
The role involves writing work orders for both new and used vehicles, estimating repairs, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate service and maintenance for vehicles. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely vehicle delivery, managing loaner and demonstrator vehicles, and responding to customer inquiries while scheduling appointments based on service needs.
What drives your day-to-day?
Writing work orders for New and Used Car Department vehicles
Completing estimates of repair and quoting Sales Department
Researching and understanding maintenance requirements for approved warranty extensions
Coordinating with technicians to understand and estimate repairs and maintenance
Coordinating with Service Manager, Sales Managers and Finance Managers to sell and complete repairs and maintenance
Ensuring internal vehicle service and detailing requirements are completed in time for targeted delivery dates
Coordinating with support staff to ensure Loaner Vehicles and Demonstrators are maintained and ready for use
Updating shared tracking documents based on status of vehicles
Answering calls and scheduling customer appointments
Preparing appointments based on recommended service schedule and campaigns
Ensuring tires are here for next day appointments
Assisting with greeting customers when required
Cashing out customers who are picking up their vehicles
Occasionally writing up work orders for customers in over-capacity situations
What are the must-haves...
Service Advisor and/or auto industry experience preferred
Import automotive experience is helpful, but not mandatory
Knowledge of CDK or similar systems is an asset
A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required
