Framatome is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our office in Pickering, Ontario. The intern will work with the engineering and project teams to support ongoing projects such as Steam Generator Replacement & Isotope production projects. This position can be either a 4 month up to a 16 month internship/ Co-op depending on the availability of the successful candidate.

The candidate will work under the supervision senior engineers on the key projects.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General support to the Project Manager and technical team
• Engage in engineering related activities such as design calculations, equipment designs, drawing reviews etc.
• Developing operating procedures for designed systems
• Engage in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis as team member
• Field support for ongoing projects in execution phase depending on execution schedules

Required Experience
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

• 3rd year or greater Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering Major

• Strong technical problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
