You are a rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

• Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study

A self starter capable of developing a proposal through appropriate investigative and research techniques. * C++ & Python Experience is plus

• Knowledge about 3D Modeling softwares Solid Works & Auto CAD
• Hand on experience a plus for maintenance and field related activities.

Your Opportunity

This role is about making an impact on people\xe2\x80\x99s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. This position can be either a 4 month up to a 16 month Internship/ Co-op depending on availability. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Kincardine, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Work with the engineering and project teams to support ongoing projects such as Steam Generator Replacement & Isotope production projects.
• General support to the Project Manager and technical team
• Engage in engineering related activities such as design calculations, equipment designs, drawing reviews etc.
• Developing operating procedures for designed systems
• Engage in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis as team member
• Field support for ongoing projects in execution phase depending on execution schedules
• The successful candidate will work under the supervision senior engineers on the key projects
