Intermediate/senior Accountant
Job Description
Dawn Flett & Associates is a local accounting practice in Ajax offering professional accounting services to a variety of local businesses and not for profit organizations including required tax filings. We are seeking senior and intermediate staff accountants to join our team in servicing our community. The roles are full time and permanent.

Do your skills include ?
- Planning and execution of Audit Engagements
- Preparation of Review and Notice to Reader engagements
- Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously
Requirements
-
2-4 years experience in public accounting is required

2-4 years experience preparing assurance files to completion

Strong understanding of accounting and audit standards
- CPA designation is preferred however not required for candidates with relevant experience
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle for periodic trips to client offices
- Available to work overtime and excess hours as required and arranged but especially during tax season
