The Government Client is looking for an experienced Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead quality assurance efforts across complex applications and integrated systems. This role ensures software reliability, performance, and compliance with public sector standards.
Job Title: Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist
Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid
Must Haves:
5+ years leading system testing and QA for complex, integrated applications.
5+ years developing test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts from system requirements.
5+ years conducting functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, and UAT testing.
5+ years using defect management tools to track and resolve issues with development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and execute end-to-end testing activities to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with project teams to align QA efforts with business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and manage software defects through to resolution.
Support automation of test cases and contribute to the improvement of QA practices.
Participate in reviews and assessments to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
Mentor junior QA staff and ensure adherence to public sector QA standards.
This role is vital to delivering secure, efficient, and high-performing systems across Ontario's public sector.
