Our client is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager/Leader
Key Deliverables for Intermediate Project Manager/Leader:
Product Requirements & Delivery: Support the Sr. Project Manager in advancing project deliverables by contributing to detailed project plans, ensuring timely and quality outputs, and tracking milestones to successful completion. Lead assigned work packages and ensure alignment with public safety operational needs.
Prioritization & Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient resource allocation. Support financial oversight and contribute to the development of complex network implementation and migration strategies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with ministry clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to build trust and deliver coordinated solutions. Facilitate effective meetings, maintain project documentation, and contribute to dashboards, reports, and briefing materials.
Project Governance & Communication: Ensure compliance with security clearance protocols and contribute to the preparation of contracts, change requests, and procurement documents. Provide regular updates, advice, and support to team members while mentoring junior staff.
Technical & Leadership Expertise: Apply advanced project management methodologies to large-scale public safety radio infrastructure projects. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive strategic outcomes.
Must haves:
In-depth knowledge of, and direct experience applying all phases (concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout) of advanced project management concepts, practices, and procedures to a large-scale, complex, high-value projects in order to meet critical timelines.
A team player with the ability to lead multiple tasks, act independently, support the Sr. PM on the file, and empower junior staff.
Strong experience working on/in public safety radio and/ or the telecommunications field.
Ability to proactively identify risks, issues, or problems, gather relevant information, perform analysis, develop options and recommendations; and build reports to support decision-making on project scope, schedule, cost, etc.
