Intermediate Interior Designer

Job Description

We are expanding our design team and looking for a skilled and passionate Intermediate Interior Designer to work on high-end residential and commercial projects in Toronto, York, and the East End( Durham).You will be working alongside the lead designer and in charge of producing space plans, concept designs, design development, technical detailing packages, and presentation boards. You will also be involved in client meetings and site visits.Responsibilities include:

  • Detailing interior layouts ( floor plans & elevations);
  • Producing technical drawings ( millwork, joinery, custom furniture, lighting, etc);
  • Creating design presentation documents and boards;
  • The managing of & delivery of tasks on time, to the highest of standards, from conception to completion;
  • Lead site meetings & be representative of client & firm;
  • Coordinating with trades and vendors on installation, purchasing, and deliveries ;
  • Sourcing and selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and products;
  • Stage and style completed projects for reveal days!

Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4-year professional experience in luxury Interior Design.
  • Able to work efficiently;
  • A good grasp of interior architectural design;
  • Excellent presentation, conceptual & visualizing skills;
  • Competent producer of detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules;
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Sketch Up.
  • Fluent in written & spoken English;
  • A team-player who is passionate about design, detail & quality.
