Job Description

Position Summary:

The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that support Framewerx's internal operations and client-facing applications. This includes building new functionality, maintaining existing codebases, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to transform requirements into functional tools and features.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Delivery

Translate technical and functional requirements into high-quality code. Develop front-end and back-end components of web-based applications. Write efficient, reusable, and testable code across multiple projects. Collaborate with internal users to iterate and enhance existing tools. Support quality assurance through testing and documentation.

Architecture & Systems

Contribute to architecture decisions and system designs. Participate in data modeling, API design, and schema optimization. Monitor application performance and refactor as needed for scalability. Document processes, dependencies, and design decisions.

Collaboration & Process

Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and product owners. Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews. Provide estimates, identify risks, and propose implementation strategies. Contribute to internal standards and reusable components.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of professional development experience. Proficiency in at least one modern web framework (e.g., React, Vue, Django, Flask). Familiarity with relational databases, version control (Git), and RESTful API design. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Clear written and verbal communication.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
