About the Role

The Intermediate Copywriter will ultimately report to the Creative Director, but be directly managed by our Senior Copywriter, while working closely alongside our team of videographers, designers, writers and developers to support the vision for the creative output of the department.

Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, you will champion insightful creative concepts to the marketing team and internal clients alike. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for crafting the most effective, emotive, and persuasive messaging in any medium.

You will:

  • Partner with designers, writers, videographers, and art directors to engage in strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution, as well as to ensure copy, tone, and style are consistent with visual tone and style
  • Ensure that stories and content are compelling and achieve objectives as set out by the brief
  • Translate creative direction and copy points from the brief into engaging and effective concepts
  • Consistently identify strategic opportunities for creative storytelling
  • Be open to interviewing patients, researchers, and doctors in order to develop storylines
  • Build relationships with internal clients, partner agencies and other vendors
  • Present concepts to project stakeholders and leadership with clarity and conviction \xe2\x80\x93 and assist other team members to do the same
  • Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
You have:
  • 3+ years in an agency or in-house creative team, with traditional and digital media experience
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to write in a range of styles for different audiences
  • Strong team player who will integrate well and work collaboratively with creative team members, internal clients, and partner agencies
  • Proven aptitude for quick, creative thinking with high attention to detail within tight deadlines
  • A strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Experience with brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to explain your rationale clearly and articulately
  • A high degree of compassion and emotional intelligence
