Cornerstone Engineering is a mid-sized engineering and project management company providing services for the oil and gas sector in Western Canada. We are currently recruiting for an Automation Technologist/Engineer position focusing on PLC, RTU, HMI, and Scada Programming. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA program development and testing. \xc2\xb7 PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA testing, on-site commissioning and field service. \xc2\xb7 Development of technical documentation (control logic, programming narratives, test procedures, user manuals, installation/commissioning manuals, etc.). \xc2\xb7 Read and comprehend P&IDs and Electrical Schematics. \xc2\xb7 Control Network Design. \xc2\xb7 Shutdown Key development \xc2\xb7 Develop project scopes and provide cost estimates. \xc2\xb7 Mentor junior staff. \xc2\xb7 Provide support to project managers and project team. Qualifications/Requirements:
-5+ years of working experience with an engineering degree or diploma in a related field
-PLC programming experience with the following platforms: Rockwell, SCADAPack, Floboss
-HMI/SCADA programming experience with the following platforms: Rockwell, Schneider, GE, and VTScada
-Experience with and willing to work on-site to support commissioning and start-up -Strong knowledge in working with Excel and Access for data base management
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
-Must possess a valid Canadian Driver\'s License.
-Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis. Desired Personal Skills:

Exudes a positive and professional manner at all times. The following May be Considered an Asset: Field level experience as an Instrument Tech or Electrician on industrial facilities
Presentation and training experience.
DCS experience (Delta V, Honeywell, Siemens etc.)
