As the Intermediate Architect, you will:



Collaborate with Designers, Senior Designers, and the Design Manager to develop creative design solutions across multiple project phases. Contribute to Concept Designs, Schematic Designs, and Design Development packages, ensuring clarity, quality, and alignment with project goals. Prepare presentations and visual materials that effectively communicate design intent to internal teams and clients. Support the review of design implementation to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality. Conduct research on materials, products, and precedents to inform design decisions and enhance project outcomes. Assist with project documentation and coordination to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and schedules. Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and technical training to grow skills and contribute to team success.

Required Competencies:



Strong design skills with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual and spatial solutions. Solid understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and industry standards. Advanced skills in architectural software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced design environment.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent; Master's degree considered an asset. 3-5 years of professional architectural design experience. Experience contributing to Concept, Schematic, and Design Development phases. Familiarity with local building codes, zoning bylaws, and permitting processes. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
