Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Interlocking Stone Installer (Paver/Tiler)

to join our restoration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining interlocking stone and tile surfaces on a variety of building restoration projects, including driveways, walkways, patios, rooftops, terraces, and other exterior or interior hardscape applications.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and grade work areas for interlocking installation Lay out, cut, and install interlocking pavers, tiles, and stone in specified patterns Mix and apply mortar, adhesives, sand, and jointing materials Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit stone or tile Repair or replace damaged interlocking surfaces as part of restoration projects Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, drawings, and safety standards Collaborate with site supervisors, masons, and other trades on restoration projects Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in interlocking stone, tiling, or paving Strong knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and materials Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings is an asset Skilled in cutting, shaping, and aligning interlocking units Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work Knowledge of restoration work practices is an asset WHMIS, Working at Heights, and other construction safety certifications are required
