Part of the LCI Education network, LaSalle College is the largest bilingual college in North America. It is comprised of six specialized schools, including Fashion, Arts and Design; VFX and Video Games; Humanities and Sciences; Management and Technology; and Hospitality and Tourism, as well as an online training school, and offers more than 60 programs related to these schools.

The School of Digital Arts is looking for lecturers for its Interior Design program. The skills and concepts taught in this program include:

Materials and finishes;

Construction drawings;

Technical drawing standards;

Residential design;

Furniture and accessories;

History of styles;

Lighting Concepts;

3D Modeling;

Furniture Design;

Architectural Design;

Certifications and Innovations;

Portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan course sessions;

Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;

Design formative and summative evaluations according to the competency-based approach;

Manage and correct evaluations;

Follow-up on each student and encourage success;

Be available to students in order to promote their development of the competency targeted by the course;

Any other related duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet one of the following criteria

Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college degree, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;

Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;

Have practiced a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
