Group2 Architecture Interior Design Ltd. (Group2) is a firm focused on using collaborative techniques to deliver value to clients in the recreational, educational, commercial and health care sectors. Group2 was established in Red Deer in 1985 and has studios in Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Ottawa. Our Saskatoon studio is currently seeking a talented and creative Interior Design professional who is highly motivated, detail oriented and has a passion for designing exceptional spaces. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of healthcare experience, as well as experience in corporate, commercial, education and recreation projects. In your role as a Licensed Interior Designer, you will: \xc2\xb7 Work collaboratively in project teams through all project phases. \xc2\xb7 Provide leadership, as required, throughout the entire project design process on projects. \xc2\xb7 Serve as the project lead on healthcare and interior focused projects. \xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain project criteria and communicate same to team members. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and/or undertake the preparation of required project documents, minutes, schedules and specifications. \xc2\xb7 Attend on-site visits and field reviews and direct contractors and vendors as required. \xc2\xb7 Monitor internal budgets and schedules. \xc2\xb7 Represent the firm in a professional manner to maintain client confidence and respect. \xc2\xb7 Meet with prospective clients and assist in the preparation of proposals and fee letters. \xc2\xb7 Achieve goals in line with the mission, vision, and values of the firm. Qualifications and Skill Set: \xc2\xb7 Experience in healthcare projects. \xc2\xb7 Registration with IDAS or ability for registration. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate excellent communication and design thinking skills. \xc2\xb7 Ethical and responsible decision-making ability. \xc2\xb7 Graduate from a CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) Accredited Program. \xc2\xb7 Proficient understanding of building codes. \xc2\xb7 Possess an in-depth knowledge of products and materials. \xc2\xb7 Minimum 8 years of experience as an Interior Designer. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated proficiency in Revit.
