Basetwo provides manufacturing engineers with a low code AI platform that helps them troubleshoot and optimize their production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Manufacturing engineers can use the Basetwo platform to:

  • improve their understanding of their plant
  • make better decisions in real-time
  • build robust data transformation pipelines
  • ingest and connect siloed databases
The Role

The Integrations Engineer is responsible for ownership and delivery of the core integration protocols and APIs that connect the Basetwo platform to customer cloud and on-premise databases and IoT infrastructure. The Integrations Engineer will maintain a close working relationship with the customer\xe2\x80\x99s IT team, as well as our internal science and design teams to bring about the best-in-class experience for our users and then implement them in a modular, scalable manner.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do
  • Take full ownership of building, shipping, and maintaining Basetwo\xe2\x80\x99s integration features end to end, for maximum customer and business impact
  • Validate and fulfill customer integration requirements for proof of concept and production implementations
  • Maintain and contribute to an internal library of integration solutions and best practices for deploying the Basetwo platform
  • Provide feedback to the Engineering & CX teams regarding customer technical architectures and configuration requirements
Requirements

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically delivering solutions pertaining to automation, industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), or analytics
  • Experience with network protocols and architecture
  • Deep understanding of historian architecture and integration, including OSI PI and Asset Framework
  • Strong understanding of Industrial IoT protocols (OPC UA and MQTT) including but not limited to experience with AWS IoT Greengrass and SiteWise, Kepware etc.
  • Production experience with SQL (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL,etc.)
  • Experience in containerization technologies (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
  • You have a strong background in computer science fundamentals with a degree in CS or a related field
