Our multi-disciplinary team is currently working hard and fast to deliver useful, enterprise-grade, quantum computers to our customers, in a safe and controlled environment. This full-time position will be based onsite in our brand-new office, located Espace Quantique 1, at the heart of a brand-new and exciting technology hub.As a Junior Assembly Integration Technician, you will be a key player in our Canadian branch. In this position you will build upon your interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. Reporting to our Technical Delivery Manager in Sherbrooke, you will work in collaboration with integration technicians on the assembling, interconnection, settings and testing of the QPUs as well as the characterization of final performance. You will Integrate floor production systems and methods into the daily work with strong support of quality management.Other responsibilities include:-Work closely with floor team members to meet delivery dates.-Work with system engineers to solve problems under pressure and deliver compliant rework procedures.-Participate in weekly technical reports.-Be involved in the implementation of new technological features delivered by the technology transfer team.-Contribute to industrializing the next generation of processors working closely with both the technology and the software teams.-Give feedback to the manufacturing team for continuous improvement of production costs and for the elimination of errors and bottlenecks.-Provide input on maintenance protocols.-May be requested as support on installation and commissioning teams.About You:
Your main scientific and technical skills are in optics and/or electronics, hardware/software interfacing and data analysis. You have first hand experience in fields such as system testing, instrument calibration, and/or assembling opto-electronic systems which provides you with the ability to address the various practical and experimental topics of complex, multi-disciplinary high-tech systems.Other Requirements:Degree Requirements: Bachelor in relevant Science related field or Engineering Degree plus 2+ years experience in a production environment.-You demonstrate a strong capacity to learn new practical and theoretical knowledge autonomously.-You have a basic understanding of measurement tools like wavemeters, spectral analyzers, oscilloscopes and voltage and power meters.-You adopt a \xe2\x80\x9chands-on\xe2\x80\x9d approach to address the various aspects of a project.-You have a solution-oriented mindset, willing to support evolution and continuous improvement.-English fluency is required for this position.
