Candidate profile (title) Who you are

Candidate profile (text) - Default language \xe2\x80\xa2 You are passionate about social media including strategy, trends, platform optimization, content development, paid campaigns, social commerce and creating measurable impact for brands online.

  • You have demonstrated experience developing integrated social media growth strategies in an omnichannel reality and understand the behaviours of online customers and are motivated by increasing customer value and thinking customer first.
  • You have deep knowledge of working in the field of social media including brand management, growth strategies, content development, community management, user generated content, platform strategy and reporting across channels including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and more.
  • You have a deep knowledge for social media insights, including trends and analytics to measure and report on campaign metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You have a deep knowledge of paid social and digital media including budget management and understand the complexity of the business and the role that integrated marketing plays in the omnichannel retail landscape.
  • You have experience collaborating with internal and external (agency) partners to develop and execute organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • You are passionate about innovative marketing technologies and digital media and stay up to date on the latest trends and development.
  • You have experience leading influencer marketing strategies and building long-term relationships with brand ambassadors.
  • You have formal qualifications in Marketing or equivalent and a minimum 7 years of experience in Marketing and delivering results.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and delivering results for brand social media channels and paid social media campaigns.

Key responsibilities (text) \xe2\x80\xa2 Act as a member of the Marketing team and proactively contribute to marketing plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals.
  • Lead the brand organic social media agenda, responsible for briefing and managing content calendars, channel growth, trend analysis, collaborating with the social media agency and internal partners, and social media reporting.
  • Lead paid social media campaigns including commercial activations, local support (across Canadian markets) and influencer marketing.
  • Drive the integrated social media strategy, identify social media best practices and set frameworks for short-, medium- and long-term social media channel and content approach.
  • Support and lead projects related to the omnichannel brand experience on social media, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing counsel, leadership and social media expertise.
  • Responsible for contribution and implementation of the Integrated Media plan across paid, earned and owned media, on and offline, and providing sufficient content needs to local media and social media agencies to ensure locally adapted marketing.
  • Responsible for budget management, finalizing and negotiating all paid advertising contract terms such as rates, placement, frequency etc. to maximize return on investment, and ensuring cost transparency be leading a comprehensive contracting and invoicing process.
  • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact.
  • Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA.
