Steers Insurance Limited is one of the largest and most progressive independent Insurance Brokers in Newfoundland & Labrador. Our highly trained staff of over 70 insurance professionals operate in 9 offices throughout Newfoundland & Labrador to serve the needs of our personal and commercial insurance clients.
We have an immediate opening in our
Corner Brook Office
for aLicensed Receptionist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking on a variety of individual daily tasks, taking on projects, and working as a team member in our dynamic insurance office environment.The insurance industry is fast-paced and technical. It requires a complete skillset from communication to the ability to learn and navigate new computer software. The right candidate will be personable, self-motivated, articulate, and organized. They will have strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, efficient and have excellent time management skills.
While preference will be given to those candidates currently licensed by the Province for Property & Casualty insurance and those with industry experience, neither is a requirement for the position. Skill, ability, and interest to learn and succeed are the key factors we are looking for. A general working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products is essential.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
