Job Description
This is a temporary role at our client site in Winnipeg. The position is expected to start on November 22, 2022, and end on December 5, 2022.
What would you be doing?
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation needed.
- Measuring and cutting insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Applying and securing insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
- Fitting insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists.
- Installation of vapor barriers.
- Fabricate metal sheets and apply insulating materials to finish surfaces.
- Have your Journeyperson or apprentice Certificate or proof of hours.
- Have valid up to date safety tickets CSTS, and WHMIS
- Manual dexterity.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
- Ability to do careful and exacting work.
- 10 hour shifts with 2 hours OT per day.
- Potential to move over to other projects.
- Benefits after +300 hours.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
