Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation in various types of buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools. The Insulator will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that insulation is installed correctly and meets all safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements. Use caulking and other sealing materials to ensure airtight installations. Cut insulation materials to fit specific dimensions using hand tools. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate insulation installation with other building processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Perform quality checks on completed insulation work to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Skills

Proficiency in caulking techniques for effective sealing of insulation materials. Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques is a plus. Ability to build structures as needed for proper insulation application. Strong skills in using hand tools such as knives, saws, and drills effectively and safely. Competence in blueprint reading for accurate installation according to project specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.83-$31.64 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
