Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools. The Insulator will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that insulation is installed correctly and meets all safety standards.

Duties

Install various types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, and cellulose. Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation requirements for specific projects. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install insulation materials. Apply caulking to seal gaps and prevent air leaks around windows, doors, and other openings. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Conduct inspections of installed insulation to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, knives, and drills. Experience with caulking techniques for sealing gaps effectively. Knowledge of drywall installation processes as it relates to insulation work. Ability to read blueprints accurately to assess project requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
