Job Summary:

NVIT anticipates the requirement for Term Instructors to deliver the following courses for the Indigenous Business Diploma Program. We invite applications from qualified candidates. These courses will be delivered in a hybrid format. This will be a term position for fall 2025 and spring 2026



Fall 2025:

IBUS 110 - Indigenous Business Communications



Spring 2026:

IBUS 130 - Community Evaluation & Strategy

IBUS 140 - Community Dynamics & Organizational Analysis

IBUS 150 - Microeconomics Analysis

IBUS 160 - Financial Stewardship in Indigenous Communities

Requirements/Qualifications:



Be of Indigenous ancestry (First Nations, Metis, or Inuit); Possess a master's degree in a related field; Have experience in classroom teaching and learning practices with Indigenous adult learners; Have strong connections and roots within Indigenous communities; Demonstrate excellent teaching and human relations skills -- faculty members are expected to contribute positively to the life of the school and community; and Possess knowledge of Indigenous cultures.
