The Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) Emergency Department is looking for an outstanding Instructor - Clinical Nursing leader (CNE) to provide front line leadership, mentorship, and education to emergency staff of all practice levels. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of education for staff with a focus on providing education, mentorship, and support in real time in the clinical setting. The RAH, centrally located in Edmonton's downtown core, serves a diverse community including our provinces' most vulnerable and marginalized populations. One of two major trauma centers in the city of Edmonton, the RAH provides care to patients with major/minor traumas, cardiac events, ophthalmologic and women's health emergencies, surgical and general medical problems. As a CNE and clinical leader, you will have the opportunity to focus primarily on providing education, mentorship and coaching in real time to support the growth, development, confidence, and resiliency of staff so that we can provide the best care possible to our patients. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational, and evidence-based practice and will play a key role in providing safe, quality, trauma informed and patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
