Job Duties


Prepare and facilitate the delivery of the Bookkeeping Managing Records; Bookkeeping Practices; and Bookkeeping Compliance for Small Business through zoom environment. Demonstrate specific accounting transactions (recording transactions, categorizing assets and liabilities, capital income and expenses, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, inventory, depreciation, worksheet income statement sand balance sheet) and facilitate skill practice. Expertise in small business taxes, payroll and strategic forecasting model. Answer student questions related to a small business environment. Revise curriculum, develop appropriate learning activities and teaching plans for each teaching assignment. Manage the classroom to provide an optimum learning environment for students. Work cooperatively with the Continuing Education Consultant and colleagues in a "team" environment.



QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications


4-year Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Administration; OR equivalent 4-year Business degree; OR related 4-year degree with major or related experience in specialty area to be taught. Minimum of 2 years of instructional methodology or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience. A Professional Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) is preferred or ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult Knowledge of the small business environment.
