What you\'ll doThe successful candidate will teach 300 and 400 level courses to students as well as communication courses for certificate, diploma and degree programs in the School of Communication.Specifically, the instructor will lead courses in writing, editing, production of content for media outlets, both print and online.Successful candidate will have current links and personal connections with communications, publishing, and public relations professionals in the Vancouver area. This is required for this instructor who may be assigned CMNS 498 practicum course (Spring/Summer 2025).Candidates must have the teaching skills and work experience to teach journalism/writing courses such as: , , , .In the School of Communication, we pride ourselves on the balance we offer our students between practical communication skills and theoretical courses based on the theories of communication. Instructors who led many of our writing, editing and production of journalistic content courses have recently retired, creating this coveted opening in our School.As a member of the Faculty of Business and Professional studies, our instructors will be instrumental in helping learners to communicate effectively, with clarity and concision. The successful candidates will show a strong commitment to mentoring students from a wide range of backgrounds.
