Lumon Canada is looking for reliable and experienced installation members. As a big and important part of our team, you will work alongside other install members in a one-two person crew environment. Lumon is focused on creating a diverse environment where everyone has the possibility to grow and learn from one another. You also have the chance to see the happy faces of our customers first-hand, once the installation is complete.

A day in the life of a Lumon Installation Technician looks like this:

Install Lumon products safely and efficiently in residential and commercial settings Engage with customers in a respectful, professional manner Exercise problem-solving skills Proactively exercise teamwork Use necessary software and hand tools Comply with applicable safety standards, including fall arrest systems Construct additional building structures to support Lumon systems Complete and maintain all required written records Operate equipment such as forklifts, Genie booms lifts, and company vehicles Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

With these base qualifications, you're set to join the journey to build better homes:

Construction, framing, sunroom or other construction experience a strong asset Valid driver's license Experience with hand tools and other light equipment Moderate mathematical skills Ability to take accurate measurements Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English) Able to lift between 60-120lbs On feet during day

Our story

Our story began in a chicken coop in 1978. Our first balcony glazing was installed in 1990, and in fact, is still in use today. We believe that the best stories do not always require a prestigious beginning, but even humble beginnings can be the start of building a great success story. As you might imagine, that story cannot be created without people. Today, Lumon is known as an international professional in balcony facades and terrace glazing, where the belief of achieving things together on the basis of company values is strong. We take care of the entire supply chain from production to sales to installation, without forgetting our various support functions. Keeping our promises to the customer is of utmost importance to us, and we stay near even after the installation is complete.
