DescriptionHello, Our Client in Mississauga is looking for Installation Technicians to add to their Team!Position: Installation Technician
Pay: $25 - $37/hour
Type: Permanent Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm, M-F.Perks:

• OT after 8hrs of workday

Average day/ Responsibilities:

• Installation of automatic, manual and revolver doors, push buttons, sliders
• Site visits, take measurements, distinguish the scope of work
• Working 1-2 days at facility, 2-3 days at client's locations
• Responsible for accurate time sheet detailing job numbers, travel time, label equipment and complete door assignments
• Perform Customer, end-user and general contractor in a courteous professional manner at all times, (patience is the key)
• Expected to participate in training programs offered
• Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment and work in a safe and efficient manner to prevent accidents to themselves, co-workers, end-users on site and the general public and property of all concerned

Requirements:

• Great attitude and personality - most important
• 2-4 years' experience in the Automatic Door industry or relevant industry experience Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminum Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, and Hardware.
• Mechanical ability, able to repair electro-mechanical devices and understand and work with basic electrical circuits and relay logic
• Excellent communication
• Have own tools (see list attached)
• G license, clear driving abstract
• Clear criminal background
• AAADM certification is an asset (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers)
