Heartland Feeds is a family owned and operated Livestock Nutrition and Agronomy Service business based out of Ponoka, AB. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as an Inside Sales / Production Assistant. We strive to produce high quality livestock nutrition products for our clients across Western Canada.

Responsibilities

Aid clients with product selection and transactions Develop sales relationships with store front customers Assist Premix Plant Operator with premix production Support sales team with deliveries and on-farm support Communicate with clients regarding deliveries Operate and maintain delivery truck Maintain equipment and assists in facility maintenance

Qualifications

Passion for Agriculture sales and customer service Physically fit and have the ability to lift 25 Kg Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail. Willingness to learn Ability to work with a team, but also self-motivated to be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. Forklift certification is considered an asset, but training would be provided to the right candidate. Clean drivers abstract with minimal class 5 drivers license Must be eligible to work in Canada Knowledge of Livestock Nutrition Products
