Customer Service Supervisor

The A.R. Thomson Engineered Solutions Inc. (ARTES) location in Red Deer specializes in manufacturing metallic hose, expansion joint products and custom CNC machined product. Our Red Deer location acts as the central hub for engineering services and provides technical expertise for all products and support to sales and manufacturing in all locations.

General Accountability:

As an Inside Sales Representative, we are looking for a team member to quote our manufactured product produced at our Red Deer facility and other products under our Control Division. Which will include but not limited to Pumps, Rubber sealing products, Steam products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review customer bid packages and source the raw materials and processes required to meet bid package specifications for manufactured parts Demonstrate a high level of competence and accuracy when creating part numbers, descriptions, BOM's, routings, costing/pricing conditions, etc. Provide customers with accurate information on the company's products and services Respond to customer requests, displaying a sense of enthusiasm and urgency appropriate to customer expectations. Proactively follow up on quotations and customer information requests, directly interacting with customers

Qualifications & Requirements:

Preferer 1-2 years of industry-related experience in the industrial supply and manufacturing fields An understanding of drawing standards, tolerances and Bill of Materials (BOM) Experience using Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards such as ASME, CSA, ISO, etc. would be an asset. Strong technical, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills Demonstrate ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
