We support customers who rely on prime & standby power--helping them stay compliant, reduce downtime, and respond fast when issues arise.

Role Summary

We're hiring an

Inside Sales & Product Coordinator

to be the "hub" between customers, technicians, vendors, and our leadership team. You'll handle inbound sales, prepare quotes, coordinate service and small projects, track job progress, and ensure customers receive timely, professional communication from first call to closeout.

This role is ideal for someone who's organized, customer-focused, and comfortable juggling sales activity with day-to-day coordination.

Key Responsibilities Inside Sales (Inbound + Light Outbound)

Respond to inbound calls/emails for generator and ATS service, maintenance, parts, and small installations. Qualify customer needs (site details, equipment info, urgency, compliance requirements). Prepare and follow up on quotes for maintenance agreements, repairs, parts, and minor upgrades. Build and maintain a healthy opportunities list, tracking status and next steps. Support account retention by renewing service contracts and working alongside others scheduling upcoming projects.
Project & Service Coordination

Coordinate scheduling between customers and field technicians for service calls and planned maintenance. Create work orders, collect job details, and ensure technicians have required info (site access, safety, equipment data). Coordinate parts ordering and vendor support; track lead times and communicate updates to customers/internal team. Assist with job kickoffs, change tracking, paperwork, and job closeout (service reports, customer sign-off, invoicing handoff). Maintain clear job files and documentation for compliance and future reference.
Administration & Customer Experience

Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP (contacts, equipment lists, quotes, work orders, notes). Handle basic front end billing support (PO collection, job-to-invoice packaging, warranty documentation). Ensure customer communication is proactive--especially for delays, schedule changes, and follow-ups. Support continuous improvement: templates, quote standards, checklists, and job tracking.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

Quotes delivered quickly and accurately, with consistent follow-up. Smooth scheduling--fewer missed details, fewer surprises for techs/customers. Clean job documentation and reliable internal handoffs. Strong customer feedback: responsive, organized, easy to work with.
Qualifications, Required:

1+ years in inside sales, service coordination, project coordination, or dispatcher/admin roles (industrial services preferred). Strong communication skills--comfortable on the phone and in writing. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities daily. Proficiency with common tools (Microsoft 365 / Online CRM) and ability to learn CRM/ERP systems (Sharepoint).
Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience in generators, ATS/UPS, electrical service, HVAC, industrial maintenance, or construction services. Ability to read basic electrical single lines, spec sheets, or equipment nameplates. Familiarity with maintenance contracts, service reports, and parts sourcing.
Skills & Attributes
