Inside Sales & Sales Support Representative

to support our Norstar Industries and U-Drain Sales Teams.

The successful candidate would be required to attend in person, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at our head office just outside of Rosenort, Manitoba.

Position Summary



The Inside Sales & Sales Support Representative provides unified sales support to both the Norstar Industries and U-drain Sales Teams. This position enhances sales efficiency by managing quoting, parts sales, CRM accuracy, pricing updates, and dealer / customer communication across all business lines.

Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, this role collaborates closely with Canadian Conveyance and Commercial Reps, the US Territory Manager and the U-Drain Sales Team to ensure consistent data, professional quoting and timely response to customer and dealer needs.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Quoting & Sales Support (Primary Function)

Prepare, issue and track quotes for all divisions - Farm Conveyance, Commercial Conveyance, US Territory and U-drain - using standardized tools and manager-approved pricing. Handle parts quotes and sales orders, ensuring accurate pricing, availability and lead times. Maintain and update Excel-based quote programs to reflect current product offerings and cost structures. Coordiante with production and purchasing teams on lead times and material changs that impact pricing or quote accuracy. Track quote turnaround times, follow-ups, and win/loss results to help improve sales performance. Coordinate weekly touchpoints with each sales group (Conveyance, U-drain, US Territory) to review open opportunities and upcoming quoting priorities.
2. Pricing Management

Maintain and update company pricing across product lines as cost increases or market changes occur. Communicate pricing updates internally to sales, marketing and customer service teams to ensure alignment. Support the VP Sales & Marketing with periodic pricing reviews and margin analysis for quoting accuracy.
3. CRM Administration & Data Integrity (Secondary Function)

Manage and maintain CRM data for all leads, dealers and projects across Norstar and U-drain divisions. Enforce a one-week accuracy standard for opportunity and quote updates. Collaborate with the existing Inside Sales Rep to ensure consistent CRM practices and data completeness. Create simple training materials (FAQs, short videos or guides) to assist team members in maintaining accurate CRM records.
4. Sales Coordination & Customer Support

Act as an internal point of contact for customers and dealers when field reps are unavailable. Coordinate with operations, shipping and accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment and documentation Support sales reps on the road by preparing quotes, processing orders and following up with dealers as needed. Assist Marketing with sales collateral requests sand dealer updates when appropriate.
Success Metrics

Quote Efficiency: Reduced average turnaround time and improved win rates per sales division. CRM Accuracy: 95% or more of active opportunities updated weekly. Pricing Accuracy: Timely updates applied across all quoting tools and CRM systems. Sales Productivity: Reduced administrative time for field reps, enabling more customer-facing activity.
Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, sales coordination or pricing administration (preferably in manufacturing or distribution). Proficiency with Zoho CRM or equivalent CRM systems Strong Excel skills - ability to maintain and modify quote tools and pricing spreadsheets. Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
