Position Overview
As Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, providing product recommendations, and supporting the sales team. You will be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively while contributing to our growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone, email, or in-person, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and new customers.
Assist customers in selecting the right materials for each project.
Provide quotes and process orders accurately and efficiently.
Support the outside sales team by tracking and following up on sales leads.
Upsell and cross-sell products to existing customers, ensuring customers have the materials they need for upcoming projects.
Input and manage customer orders in the company's sales system.
Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Ensure inventory is properly tracked and orders are shipped without delays.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and the construction industry.
Educate customers on product specifications, uses, and benefits.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet customer needs.
Provide feedback to management on product trends and customer feedback to help improve sales strategies.
Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming showroom for customers.
Adhere to safe working policies and procedures including wearing PPE in the warehouse, completing weekly HSE reviews, reporting hazards, etc.

Qualifications
3-5 years of prior experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean drivers abstract.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn marketing functions is an asset.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work environment
