The Impact You'll Make (Agriculture Focus)

You'll be the first line of support for our Ag customers (e.g., grain handling, feed mills, seed processors, elevators), working closely with outside Sales Directors/Managers to keep plants running and projects moving. You will:

Own the inbox & phone:

Triage inquiries; qualify needs; deliver fast, accurate quotes.

Quote & close:

Build quotations, follow up, negotiate with suppliers, and convert to orders.

Keep the system clean:

Log activities, opportunities, and orders in the CRM with impeccable accuracy.

Partner with the field:

Support site visits and projects; prepare technical cut sheets and order packs.

Protect the margin:

Price with discipline; flag risks; propose alternates to meet uptime and budget.
(Typical Ag product families you'll touch: elevator buckets & belting, roller/engineered chains, sprockets, wear parts, monitoring & safety accessories.)

What Success Looks Like (first 90 days)

<2-hour average response time on new inquiries 100% of quotes/opportunities accurately captured in CRM ?30% quote-to-order conversion on qualified requests Zero preventable order errors; Positive feedback from field Sales Directors and key Ag accounts

RequirementsWhat You Bring

Experience:

1-4+ years in

inside sales / customer service

in B2B industrial or distribution (Ag or heavy industry is a plus).

Communication:

Clear, confident, and calm under pressure; excellent phone/email etiquette.

Commercial discipline:

Comfortable discussing price, delivery, and terms; basic negotiation skills.

Tools:

Proficient with Microsoft 365; experience with

CRM

(Zoho or similar) is an asset.

Organization:

High attention to detail; can manage many quotes/orders at once without dropping balls.

Language:

English required

(work with Quebec HQ and national suppliers).
